SCANS – Senior Center & Nutrition Services

ABOUT US

Senior Center and Nutrition Services (SCANS) is an affiliate committee of the Utah Aging Association (UAA) developed for the purpose of:

  • Developing a statewide network of Senior Center and Nutrition personnel
  • Developing mechanisms for exchange of information and resources for Senior Center personnel and to work towards maximum utilization of available information and resources
  • Promoting professional standards for Senior Centers
  • Enhancing and supporting efforts to improve availability of services to meet the needs of the older population

WHO CAN JOIN?

Senior Centers and Nutrition Services Committee (SCANS) is comprised of UAA members who are associated with senior centers or nutrition programs. Membership is $5 a year to join in conjunction with UAA membership.
